WHAT: I served as the Head of the Media Division for HIMAPRODI TI, where I led a team in managing the organization's social media presence, specifically on Instagram. My role involved strategic planning, creating visual content, and scheduling posts to keep the student body informed and engaged.

SO WHAT: This role taught me that effective communication goes beyond just good design; it requires leadership and consistency. I learned how to manage a content calendar, coordinate with a team, and maintain a consistent brand voice. It also highlighted the importance of visual hierarchy in conveying information quickly on social platforms.

NOW WHAT: I plan to leverage these soft skills—leadership, communication, and time management—in my future IT career. Whether in development or cybersecurity, the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to an audience is a vital skill I will continue to refine.

WHAT: I built a static landing page for a fictional company named "SeaWaves." The project focused strictly on the front-end aspect, utilizing HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap framework to create a visually appealing and responsive layout without backend integration.

SO WHAT: This project solidified my understanding of the DOM structure and the grid system in Bootstrap. I realized that a good user interface must be backed by clean, semantic code to ensure maintainability. It also taught me the discipline of "pixel-perfect" implementation—making the browser render exactly what was envisioned in the design phase.

NOW WHAT: Having mastered the static interface, my next step is to breathe life into these designs by learning JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue. I also aim to integrate backend logic (PHP or Node.js) in future iterations to transform static pages into dynamic, functional web applications.

WHAT: I created the UI/UX design for "Vishire," a service marketplace app. The process started with identifying the needs of both designers (sellers) and clients (buyers), followed by creating user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and finally a high-fidelity prototype using Figma.

SO WHAT: I learned that "booking a service" is a complex flow that requires trust. The design needed to reduce friction for the user. I discovered that simple things—like button placement or color contrast—drastically affect how easily a user can navigate an app. Empathy for the user was the key driver for every design decision.

NOW WHAT: I want to take this design to the development stage using Flutter to understand the technical constraints of implementing complex UI designs. I also plan to conduct usability testing with real users to validate my design assumptions and iterate based on feedback.

WHAT: I designed commercial posters for a family-owned company. Unlike academic projects, this was real client work that required meeting specific business requirements, adhering to brand guidelines, and creating visuals intended for marketing and public display.

SO WHAT: This experience bridged the gap between art and business. I learned to handle client feedback and realized that effective design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about solving a communication problem. The challenge was to make the information readable and attractive while maintaining a professional corporate tone.

NOW WHAT: I aim to expand my design skills into branding identity and digital marketing assets. Understanding the visual side of business helps me as an IT student, as I can better visualize how digital products should be presented to end-users to maximize market appeal.

WHAT: I designed a comprehensive network infrastructure for a corporate environment spanning two buildings with 300+ devices. This involved creating a hierarchical topology using Cisco equipment, configuring static routing protocols, integrating wireless access points, and developing a complete budget estimate (IDR 1.9 Billion) covering hardware and installation.

SO WHAT: This project demonstrated that network administration requires a holistic approach considering not just technical specifications, but also scalability, security, budget constraints, and future organizational growth. I realized that network design decisions have lasting implications—poor planning becomes exponentially more expensive to remediate later. Additionally, I learned that successful infrastructure projects require strong documentation and stakeholder communication to justify technical decisions in business terms.

NOW WHAT: I will deepen my expertise in network security protocols and redundancy planning to design more resilient systems. I plan to pursue advanced certifications in network administration (CCNA) to strengthen my technical credentials. Additionally, I will develop better skills in presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, as infrastructure projects increasingly require business case justification and cost-benefit analysis.
